What is it exactly
What is the Diamond Price Calculator?
The Diamantwerp diamond price calculator is a free online tool that gives you an instant, honest price estimate for any diamond based on its four Cs — cut, colour, clarity and carat weight — plus shape and certificate type. It’s built on the same Antwerp wholesale price data we use internally to quote our own clients.
Unlike jeweller price lists that bake in 100–300% retail markups, this calculator shows you the fair market value — what a diamond of those exact specifications actually costs in the global trade. That’s the number you should be comparing retail quotes against.
The process
How the calculator works

Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is the Diamond Price Calculator?
Very accurate, because it's not an estimate. The calculator queries our actual live certified inventory in real time — every price you see is the price of a diamond we have in stock right now, sourced directly from the Antwerp diamond district. There are no markups, no commission overlays, no "starting from" framing. When the exact specs you select aren't in our standard inventory, the calculator falls back to a sourcing estimate based on current Rapnet prices and our published margin tiers.
Why are your prices lower than retail jewellers?
Three reasons. First, we source directly from Antwerp cutters via Rapnet — no wholesaler in between. Second, we operate from the diamond district itself with low overhead, no high-street showroom rent, no luxury mall fees. Third, we apply transparent fixed-percentage margins (published openly) instead of the variable retail markups that high-street jewellers add. The same GIA-certified stone can sell for 2× our price at one jeweller and 8× at another — the difference is overhead and brand premium, not stone quality.
Where do the prices come from?
Live from our own inventory database. When you change a spec in the calculator, it sends a query to our RISPro inventory system and returns the actual stones we have available. Our inventory is refreshed every few hours via Rapnet — the global trading network operated by Rapaport. For specs we don't carry as standard, we calculate a sourcing estimate using current Rapnet wholesale prices plus our published margin tiers. You'll always know whether you're seeing in-stock pricing or a sourcing estimate — the calculator labels both clearly.
Are there hidden fees not shown in the calculator?
No. The price you see is the final price you pay. EU VAT is included for European customers. Shipping is free for EU orders, and we handle all customs documentation for international shipments. The only optional add-on is insured express delivery for high-value stones, which we'll quote separately if you choose it. Bank transfer customers get an additional 1% discount, applied automatically at checkout. No "convenience fees", no "handling charges", no surprises.
Does the calculator work for international buyers?
Yes. Prices are shown in EUR but we ship worldwide with fully insured courier services — including the US, UK, Asia and Australia. International customers receive their diamond with the original GIA, HRD or IGI certificate and full customs documentation. For non-EU buyers, the displayed price excludes any local import duties and VAT applicable in the destination country, which vary by region. We can provide a delivered-duty-paid quote on request — just contact our team.
Can I use this calculator to plan an engagement ring budget?
Absolutely — this is one of the most common uses. Pick your preferred shape (Round and Oval are the most popular for engagement rings), set the carat weight and quality grades, and the calculator shows you exactly what's available in our inventory at each spec level. We recommend reading our diamond engagement ring guide first if you're new to the 4 C's — it explains which compromises typically make the biggest visual difference and which barely matter. Once you have a clearer idea, the calculator helps you compare real options at your target budget.
What happens if my exact specs aren't in stock?
The calculator handles this gracefully. First it tries an exact match. If no exact match exists, it widens the carat range slightly and shows you the closest alternatives in stock — often with the same colour and clarity at a slightly different carat weight. If even relaxed criteria return no results, the calculator switches to "sourcing mode" and shows you an estimated price based on current Rapnet sourcing costs. We can typically source a specific diamond to your exact specifications within 5 to 10 working days — request a sourcing quote and we'll come back with real numbers, no obligation.
